The winning cut was entered by Alpha Medic, a San Diego grower, and its house selection Alpha OG - an OG Kush phenotype - is one half of the cross. The other half, XXX OG, bred from OG Kush and XXX, took first place for indica at the 2014 Los Angeles Cannabis Cup, with Alpha OG second in its own category: Cup winners on both sides of the family.
