The nose leads with the Blueberry side - sweet blue fruit, berry jam, a twist of citrus peel - and the Haze sits under it with pine, herbal spice and a dry earthiness on the finish. Commonly described as bright and easygoing.
On the grow side, Blue Dream finished weeks ahead of a pure Haze, yielded heavily, shrugged off powdery mildew, and nobody held its cuttings back. So it spread fast, a sweet, berry-forward change from the OG Kush and Granddaddy Purple that dominated California at the time. In 2015 it led sales in both Washington and Colorado, and Headset still ranked it California's best-selling flower strain in 2023 and again in 2024.
