Strawberry Cough is one of the great flavour-first cultivars. The accepted lineage is a Strawberry Fields-type plant crossed with Haze, though the earliest records are thin - the story traces to a clone found with a novice grower in Connecticut. Kyle Kushman is credited with preserving the defining cut and carrying it from New York to California; some dispute that he bred it, but nobody disputes that he kept it alive. It arrived in the early 2000s, long before dessert strains, and made the case that aroma could matter as much as potency.

Unmistakably fresh strawberry over a sweet herbal Haze background. Commonly described as clear-headed and talkative. Filed on our menu as a sativa.

**Why this one.** Ice Packs are Rove's triple-infused pre-rolls, which the company claims as the first of their kind: whole flower infused with THCA diamonds, rolled, then coated on the outside with solventless ice hash. Rosin, diamonds and hash in a single format. It has become Rove's fastest-growing line, and the company added three new strains to it ahead of 4/20 this year.
