Super Boof got its name as a joke. "Boof" is slang for bad weed, and when Michigan grower Mobilejay picked out a standout phenotype and named it Super Boof, the joke stuck - all the way to Leafly's Strain of the Year for 2024. The plant itself came from San Diego breeder Blockhead, who crossed Black Cherry Punch with Tropicana Cookies in 2019, working out of his laundry room and backyard and first calling it Blockberry.
Expect a citrus-forward nose led by orange zest and grapefruit, with a soft cookie sweetness underneath.
Not bad for a name that started as a put-down.
