THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.
Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis that contribute to each strain's unique flavor and aroma. Total terpenes represents the combined concentration of all terpene compounds detected in the product, which may influence the overall experience through the entourage effect.
At the Emerald Cup in Santa Rosa in December 2017, Ray Bama and his partner Nick quietly debuted a cross of Cookies' Gelato and Dying Breed Seeds' Zkittlez. Within months Runtz was the most talked-about name in California, and in 2020 Leafly named it Strain of the Year. Runtz OG is that original cut.
Sweet tree fruit and apricot lead, candy-bright, over the creamy and lightly gassy base that Gelato passes down. The smoke is smooth and creamy. It is commonly described as euphoric, giggly and talkative, settling into easy relaxation.
Mac Pharms infuses this pre-roll with melted THCa diamonds, the most refined crystal form of cannabis concentrate. Because the diamonds are melted rather than dusted on, the concentrate works through the whole joint, in a roll made to burn even instead of running down one side.
