THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.
Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis that contribute to each strain's unique flavor and aroma. Total terpenes represents the combined concentration of all terpene compounds detected in the product, which may influence the overall experience through the entourage effect.
OG Hurricane comes out of Michigan, from Heavyweight Heads -- the breeder that partnered on Lion Order's genetics. It is Trick Trick OG crossed with Cream Soda, two cultivars the breeder also grows in its own lineup, and it lands as a hybrid built on an OG backbone.
The aroma opens tropical and floral before the OG funk comes through underneath: fuel, pine and lemon, in a profile that recalls the original SFV OG Kush. The finish is smooth, with earthy kush notes lingering on the exhale.
Heavyweight Heads selects its strains on flavor and terpene profile, and OG Hurricane shows the thinking: a classic gassy OG character with a brighter, more floral top end layered over it.
