Screw a cartridge on, draw, and it works. That is the entire interaction. The 510 thread is the connection nearly every cannabis cartridge on the market is built to, so this battery is not tied to one brand or one shelf - if the cart screws on, it runs.

The output is fixed at 3.2v, and the fixed part is the point. There is no dial to set wrong and no setting to forget. 3.2v sits at the gentler end of the range cartridges are designed around, warming oil steadily instead of driving the coil hot, which is what lets an aromatic extract taste like itself rather than like a scorched wick. Auto-start means draw-activated: no button to hold down, nothing to click awake. Lift it, inhale, and it fires. Charging is over USB.

This is the battery that never turns into a project. Nothing to configure, nothing to explain to whoever borrows it, and no setting to second-guess when a cart is not tasting right. The matte black housing keeps glare and fingerprints down and disappears in a pocket, and because it speaks the universal standard, it will outlast whatever cartridge is on it today.
