THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.
Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis that contribute to each strain's unique flavor and aroma. Total terpenes represents the combined concentration of all terpene compounds detected in the product, which may influence the overall experience through the entourage effect.
Orangutangie is a young cultivar from Atlas Seed, a California breeder whose whole focus is cannabis bred for farming. They released it in 2025 as a cross of Banjo and Gorilla Glue: Banjo brings the orange and tangerine zest, Gorilla Glue brings pine, diesel and a heavy coat of resin.
The label sums it up well: sharp citrus with an earthy gas finish. The citrus lands first, then the draw turns earthier, with a diesel edge on the exhale. Its character is commonly described as balanced - lifted and clear-headed up top, loose and settled in the body.
Florist Farms freezes the flower fresh at harvest and extracts it as live resin, so what fills this all-in-one is the plant's own oil with its terpenes intact - no distillate, nothing but cannabis. It runs on a ceramic core, recharges over USB-C, and is made in small batches: a way to taste Orangutangie much as it was the day it was harvested.
