THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.
Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis that contribute to each strain's unique flavor and aroma. Total terpenes represents the combined concentration of all terpene compounds detected in the product, which may influence the overall experience through the entourage effect.
Joesy Whales walked into his flower room to find a Chem's Sister plant throwing male pollen sacks, and the Sour Dubb beside it already dusted. He and partner Lone Watty of GG Strains crossed the seed from that accident with Chocolate Diesel, and the plant marked #4 took first place at both the Michigan and Los Angeles High Times Cannabis Cups in 2014. A 2017 settlement with the adhesive maker retired the old name; the breeders now call it GG4, or Original Glue.
This one is earthy with notes of pine and citrus, its terpenes led by ocimene, limonene and terpinolene. GG4 is commonly described as a heavy-handed euphoria that settles into deep, full-body relaxation.
The name was always about the resin, famously sticky enough to gum trimming scissors shut. The oil is pure cannabis oil and cannabis terpenes, with no botanical terpenes or artificial flavoring.
