THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.

Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis that contribute to each strain's unique flavor and aroma. Total terpenes represents the combined concentration of all terpene compounds detected in the product, which may influence the overall experience through the entourage effect.

The Netherlands, mid-1990s: at Green House Seeds the breeder Shantibaba crossed a Brazilian landrace with a resin-heavy line from South India, and the flowers came off the plant so thick with trichomes they looked dusted in frost. White Widow took the Cannabis Cup in 1995 and went on to parent a whole family of "White" cuts, White Russian and Blue Widow among them.

The aroma is commonly described as woody and earthy with a floral lift, peppery spice and a faint edge of lemon. Its character is commonly described as euphoric, uplifting and talkative, with a creative, focused energy.

Dank blends it at seven parts indoor flower to three parts concentrate: bubble hash and crystallized THCA diamonds. White Widow is still the benchmark frosted classic, worth knowing at the source.
