THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.
Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis that contribute to each strain's unique flavor and aroma. Total terpenes represents the combined concentration of all terpene compounds detected in the product, which may influence the overall experience through the entourage effect.
Breeder's Choice built Blue Diesel to improve on NYC Diesel, crossing it with Blueberry to fold fruit into the fuel and shorten its time in flower.
The breeder's own shorthand for the result is "diesel covered in berries," and that is still how it is commonly described: a sour, gassy front with a light berry sweetness behind it. Its character is usually called upbeat and mostly energizing, a hybrid with a clear head.
Brass Knuckles runs it as Live Liquid Diamonds in an all-in-one rechargeable vaporizer. "Live" means the plant was frozen fresh at harvest instead of dried and cured, which holds on to more of the terpenes that carry its aroma. "Liquid diamonds" means cannabinoid crystals are brought back together with a terpene-rich sauce. For a strain whose whole appeal is fuel meeting fruit, keeping those terpenes is the point.
About Brass Knuckles: Brass Knuckles was founded in 2016 by Mike Healy, and the brand traces its first chapter to a session in a recording studio that year, with roots in California cannabis culture going back to the early '90s. It built its name on vapes, pairing curated terpene profiles with ceramic heating elements and glass tips, and its line runs from 510 cartridges to all-in-ones filled with live liquid diamonds. After a pause, the brand relaunched in the New York market in early 2024.
Brass Knuckles is a legacy cannabis brand founded in 2016, known for redefining empowerment in the industry. Guided by a commitment to transparency, authenticity, innovation, and excellence, these values shape everything from how we develop our products to how we connect with our customers. Currently available in New York and Nevada.
