Acapulco Gold is a Mexican landrace, shaped by natural selection in the highlands of Guerrero above the coast at Acapulco. It reached the United States around 1964 and became famous enough that the Oxford English Dictionary defined it by 1965 - "a special grade of cannabis growing in the vicinity of Acapulco... with a color of brownish gold." It is also foundational rather than merely famous: it is among the varieties used in the original breeding of Skunk, which puts it in the ancestry of a great deal of what is on the shelf today.

Toffee and warm earth with citrus and a woody, incense-like edge. Commonly described as clear and steady. Filed on our menu as a sativa.

**Why this one.** Ice Packs are Rove's triple-infused pre-rolls, which the company claims as the first of their kind: whole flower infused with THCA diamonds, rolled, then coated on the outside with solventless ice hash. Rosin, diamonds and hash in a single format. It has become Rove's fastest-growing line, and the company added three new strains to it ahead of 4/20 this year.
